Finding Authentic Craigslist Offers
Craigslist provides the wonderful opportunity to find many offers that will advance you financially, socially, and so forth. The main issue with Craigslist, though, is the amount of automatic, spam like posts that try to trick the user into joining an affiliate program, pyramid scheme, et cetera. With a little bit of practice, anyone can detect a majority of these types of postings and avoid these types of postings.
Firstly it is important to look for advertisement like traits. If a post is attempting to pursuade you to visit a long link (especially if the link contains numbers or a name after the domain), then this is most likely an affiliation link. These types of links will not help you in your pursuit of a quality offer and will only fill the pockets of the original poster.
Another important thing is to look for keyword texts within the advertisement. If the advertisement does not make a lot of sense (in terms of English usage), then it could be nothing more than a keyword rich advertisement post. The idea of these posts are to attract people to the post via search engines so that the post makers can make money.
There are many authentic offers on Craigs list and it just takes a bit of practice to filter them out from the illegitimate ones.
