Earn with your entertainment site
I have one site in entertainment niche. It has quite well traffic and it spends a lot of bandwidth. The problem with entertainment sites is that costs are high but earnings are bad. But I don’t have this problem with my site, because I found great method to earn money from this kind of sites.
The earnings are low because people aren’t in shopping mood when they are visiting entertainment sites. They are just bored. So, affiliate programs don’t do well. Because bored visitors don’t spend much, advertisers don’t want to give a lot of money for click. That’s why PPC programs don’t do well. So, there is only one more chance for us - CPM programs.
CPM programs pays per 1000 shows of ad, but usualy CPM(cost per thousand impressions) for banners advertising is very low(about $0.5).
That’s why I run popup ads on my entertainment site. I use Paypopup ad network and I get about $1.5 per 1000 impressions. You can get even more if your visitors are from USA or UK.
