AdSense is probably main money maker for lots of webmasters. AdSense has great CTR and eCPM, but with few minutes of work you can increas your earnings up to 50%.

1. Blend your ads
Best way to get higher CTR and eCPM is to blend your ads. It means ads should look like part of content. For titles use the same color as links on you site(if link on your site are blue than make your AdSense titles blue) and for description and URL use the same color as text on your site. For border and background use the same color as you used for background of your site.(example: K-Link Directory)

2. Put your ads on the right place
- Add big 336×280 banner right about your content.(example: K-Link Directory)
- Add 160×600 banner somewhere users would expect menu(right or left sidebar)
- Add ads block at the end of article. Users take ads for ‘additional resources’. Don’t forget to read TOS before - you should not add text like recommanded links or something similar above the ad block.

3. Use Link Units
Many webmasters don’t use Link Units on their sites. Great article about optimizating link units can be found at DoshDosh blog.

4. Add AdSense for search on your site
This adds additional feauture for users and extra renuve for you. And it isn’t annoying.
