Networking is great way to promote your blog, but it is hard to connect with other bloggers. There is short list of to-do things.

1. Giving
You need to think about networking as long-term process. If you want to get long-term benefits you’ll have to give away lots of links and other things. Help people to reach their goals and they will start to like you.

2. Start with small bloggers
Every blogger wants to have top bloggers in his niche in his network, but for small bloggers it is rather impossible. You need to start with small bloggers in your niche. It is easier to connect with 10 bloggers with 500 readers per day than with one blogger who has 5000 readers – but effect is the same.

3. Keep your blog quality
Nobody wants to link low quality blogs. You need to work hard on your blog to make impression on other bloggers.

4. Think out-of-box
It is great to be connected with bloggers in your niche, but you can also connect with bloggers in n neighboring niches. Example: readers of real estate investing can be also interested in money making online.

5. Write quality comments
You have to write a little bit longer and high quality comments on other blogs to be spotted by author.

6. Be patient
Sometimes you’ll need to write 50 comments and mails to become friend with blogger.

I wrote about my favourite blogs about internet marketing before. The reason why I write this post is that I found another great blog about internet marketing.

It is Jim Karter’s blog. Jim is really internet marketing expert, he make about $50,000 per month only from his own websites and he owns company, which manage over 300 websites. And he also know how to share knowlage.

2. Write every day. You’ll get visitors which read blog regulary.
3. Use ping to inform search engines and aggregators like Technorati about new content on your blog.
4. Write simple posts for newbies. Do not forget to add examples.
5. Have different opininon then other blogers.
6. Use translation plugins to attract readers from other countries.
7. Submit your blog posts to blog carnivals in you niche(http://blogcarnival.com)
8. Submit reviews of your blog posts to newsgroups.
9. Design new outfit of your site and submit it in showcase sites.
10. Develope the conversation around your posts.
11. Be friend with other bloggers.
12. Be active on forums in your niche and add link in your sig.
13. Join in communities in your niche.
14. Include blog URL in business cards, flyers…
15. Submit your articles in social bookmarking sites like digg.
16. Leave trackbacks.
17. Let your readers to be active. Add polls…
18. Try to build community around your blog.
19. Use Squidoo Lenses.
20. Write articles and submit them in article directories.
21. Join MySpace and join groups in your niche.
22. Use Yahoo! Answers.
23. Write about Top 10 bloggers in your niche.
