One of the most efficient ways to attract the maximum amount of traffic to your website is by using keyword pay per click. It will mean that you will need to monitor the latest terms and words associated with your business, but in the end, it will have a much better success rate. By keeping your business terms and keywords current, you will be able to constantly pull in the traffic and attention you need to make more sales.

Probably the best way to use keyword pay-per-click advertising is at the start. It should be integral part of the website design. If you begin creating the website with the keywords already established, it will be easier to incorporate them in a more natural narrative flow. Taking the time up front will allow you to focus on the design without having to continually worry about appealing to search engines. Over time, all you should be required to do is keep your content current, so it is just a matter of taking a few minutes to ensure you are using the most popular keywords. It is a more certain way of targeting the right audiences because you know what words they will use to find services and products like yours.

If you are unsure how to go about using the right keywords to optimize search engine results, you can hire a professional to conduct the research, develop the site content, and maintain it. Even if you are pretty sure you know how to optimize, it does not hurt to have a professional critique it. This is a small cost to ensuring your site is optimized for the keyword pay-per-click campaign. If you do not take the time or spend a little money, it is very likely that your website and revenue will be hurt by having the wrong keywords applied or no keywords at all.

One of the earliest forms of pay-per-click advertising is called direct linking. This type of advertising typically sends the person who clicked on the ad directly to the website associated with the ad; sometimes it can even redirect the domain. This is often a problem for the user because they do not want to leave the site they are currently viewing, especially if they click on the ads by accident.

While marketers may be able to sneak their ads through the filter system for a while, eventually the website running the ads will realize what the links are doing and will increase the cost per click billed to the marketer. They will also lower your quality score. In time you will have few clicks and the return on the money spent for marketing will not be worth the cost. Direct linking may seem like an easy, effective method of reaching potential customers, but that will only last as long as it is reviewed by a computer; when a person gets around to reviewing the ad, the profit from the site will rapid decline.

If this dissuades marketers from using direct linking, there is an alternative that is more profitable and friendly to the prospective buyer. Vendors can acquire a domain and start posting blogs with information, updates, and reviews of their products on their own. The blog header should include the title used on the clicked ad to direct internet users to the site. This lets them know that they have reached where they expected to be. The review should be very detailed and exact. The more information you provide the more the user will come to understand and compare what they need and expect to what you offer. Ensuring your clients get what they expect and pay for will mean that you are more likely to have repeat customers and that you will be positively rated by the buyers.

Despite its many names (pay for position, cost per click, pay for performance) pay-per-click ad campaigns are the most popular and most successful marketing method online. Most people have seen the ads that appear on sites like Google when a search is run. Pages of possible sites take up the bulk of the page, but a few possible places where services and products can be bought appear on the top and down the right side of the page. These are the pages that pay-per-click advertising marketers create to attract the attention of people already looking for the product or service.

One of the main reasons for its popularity with the marketing world is that it does not cost them anything if their links are not used. Another reason to use pay per click is that those who click on the link are likely to be interested in the product, reducing the amount of time wasted on trying to convince people they want or need something they are not already looking to buy. The main benefit to the visitor is that it reduces the amount of spam in their inbox and time wasted on unwanted, irrelevant pop-up ads. However, these advantages can be reversed by inexperienced and unprofessional pay-per-click ads. The use of keywords is a requirement for a successful campaign. Bidding is also important to achieve a higher profile during a search engine run. Keywords are bid on by competing businesses to gain prominence during a search. With the number of people dependent on the internet for shopping, this can be an expensive endeavor. Since keywords can be so costly, it is no surprise that large companies are usually the first to appear after executing a search.

To have a successful campaign, you need to plan. Selecting the right keywords is important, but it is not the only aspect to consider. Sometimes you need to depart from the most popular keywords and use ones that are more specific to your business. This will also spare you some of the high bids required to get the more popular keywords. Once established, you will need to monitor the number of sales versus the number of clicks. If you have a high click count but a low sales you may be using the wrong keywords or have a page that is not conveying the message you want to present. Even if a page is successful, after a while you should create a new version, keeping the marketing fresh. You can even establish a rotational order for ads and occasionally replace the ones that are the least successful.

Research is always important to a successful campaign. However, it is also very important to have a professional critique your site. They will be able to provide you with insight and ideas that you had not considered, as well as point out mistakes. You will want to either retain services or have someone trained to handle it for the life of your campaign to have the highest return.

As the first thing any internet user will see when they click on your pay-per-click ad, the landing page is going to make a decided first impression. You have an average of three second to impress your visitor before they will move on to another site. The page needs to be short and snappy. It must give the potential customer a good idea of what the product or service is without overwhelming them, which would make them decide to go back to the previous page to find something more fitting. Making a landing page that has lots of graphics and many menus may take up too much time and deter any further exploration into your product. In other words, marketers should not have the click drag the internet user to their site.

You landing page’s heading needs to be the main draw. Make the font standout by either bolding it, using a larger more impressive font, or changing the color (keeping in mind you do not want a repugnant or painful color). Think of the highlights to your product, and then create a succinct write-up. Make the write-up engaging enough that the visitor will want to know more. Avoid using irrelevant keywords, wordy phrases, and gaudy graphics. These do not further the point and detract from the product. You can include audio, but make sure that it is suitable without being overbearing. You do not want the viewer to go back because the music is too obnoxious or gets easily stuck in the viewer’s head. Including an opt-in form can make the user feel like they have a choice and that their opinion is important. It is a great way to get contact information from the visitors for future business opportunities.

It should not need to be said, but make sure your page is professional. Do not allow any grammatical errors, misspellings, grainy pictures, or the like. Letting this appear on your site will serve as a strong deterrent. Keep the text short and to the point. Make sure all links not only work, but direct the visitor to the right places. Follow all restrictions of the different browsers and operating systems so you don’t alienate any potential customers, like not using flash borders or bright colors. You can hire someone to look over your work, or even have a couple of friends look at it, just make sure to ask for honest opinions.

1. PPC Advertising
PPC advertising is one of the most popular methods to make money from your website. How does it work? You join one of the PPC network and than you put simple javascript code in HTML of your website. This code can show image banner, in-content links(Kontera) or text banner(AdSense, AdBrite…). You get paid everytime your visitor click on banner or link.

2. CPM Advertising
CPM means cost per 1,000 impressions. You get few bucks for every 1,000 impressions of banner or popup/popunder. You’ll get about $0.5 – $2 per 1,000 impressions. CPM advertising is popular mostly with entertiment websites which has low CTR and a lot of impressions. CPM program I use is Paypopup.

3. Paid reviews
Paid reviews are popular with bloggers. I don’t have much experiences with paid reviews, but some bloggers get upto $500 per post. The most popular review service is ReviewMe.

4. Text link sales
Text link sales is one of my favourit methods. Link buying is the easiest way to get more link popularity and many webmasters are doing it. I use Text link ads and TNX.net.

Another post about making money methods is coming soon. Don’t miss it – subscribe to my RSS.
